A native Alaskan Tlingit who comes from a family of artists, Nick Galanin draws on the traditional visual language of the Tlingit culture and mixes this with his own unique contemporary artistic stylings when creating these inimitable designs. He has a Bachelors degree in Jewelry Design and Silversmithing from the London Guildhall University in England and is currently completing his M.V.A in Indigenous Visual Arts at Massey University in New Zealand. The cuff features a fuse of modern and past handcarving styles, creating an intricate design true to Nick Galanin. The theme is an eagle, and is carved in sterling silver. With Nick Galanin's initials engraved on the back, this cuff is one to keep for generations.
