A native Alaskan Tlingit who comes from a family of artists, Nick Galanin draws on the traditional visual language of the Tlingit culture and mixes this with his own unique contemporary artistic stylings when creating these inimitable designs. He has a Bachelors degree in Jewelry Design and Silversmithing from the London Guildhall University in England and is currently completing his M.V.A in Indigenous Visual Arts at Massey University in New Zealand. This stunning ring features an adjustable band, which is designed in a graceful coil. The pattern, based upon totemic patterns of the Tlingit culture, is that of a lovebird.
